Good Morning Newgrounds! At least I hope it has been for all of you. I have been fighting a cold all week. The time I get to spend working on Newgrounds has been minimal between my day job and drinking NyQuil. I swear, with me getting sick each year NyQuil should be sponsoring this paper at this point. My apologies for the limited issue this week, I am feeling better though.

Adobe alongside multiple browsers cut support for Flash. Meaning that a lot of Flash movies and games would no longer run online. Through Newgrounds member @mike, development on the Flash emulator Ruffle would begin. You can read the progress Ruffle has made in the preservation of Flash on Newgrounds and throughout the Internet in their 2023 Review.

To celebrate the legacy of Flash, Newgrounds hosts the Flash Forward Jam. Where your goal is to make a Flash Game or Flash Movie with Interactive Elements. Below are the requirements for the jam. You can also check out the past Flash Forward Jams below!

JAM REQUIREMENTS

• Make a game or interactive movie with Flash. Interactive movies include animation collabs with cool menu systems, or something with decisions / alternate endings.
• Confirm it works via Ruffle before publishing. You will see a “Test with Ruffle” link on your preview page. Ruffle is what we use to run Flash on NG without the Flash plugin.
• Please avoid the use of copyrighted character and unlicensed commercial music. We love it when people work with artists from the Audio Portal and also manage an additional list of music resources.

Publish on NG by end of day April 21st with the “Flash-Forward-2024” tag.

There was an error in the last issue of The Tank Tribune. February 2nd was not the deadline for the Pokemon Mystery Lovers Collab, but a Soft Deadline. The hard deadline is February 10th, that’s this coming Saturday! This deadline is so that the collab can be launched to Newgrounds on Valentine’s Day. Thank you to collab organizer @DioShiba for pointing this out to The Tank Tribune!

@Frosty is hosting a collab all about bugs. The goal is to make an insect in pixel art form that will move about in a little terrarium that you can look at in an interactive museum style. Below are the guidelines for this collaboration.

GUIDELINES

1. Create an original pixel art bug sprite in four directions (Front, Back, Left, and Right) that will go into a terrarium, and be displayed in a walkable museum. (PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A PRE-EXISTING CHARACTER, OR AT LEAST DO A “LEGALLY DISTINCT” PARODY OF SAID CHARACTER)

2. Individual sprite must be 8x8 minimum, and 64x64 maximum size (SPRITE SHEET CAN BE LARGER)

3. The sprite must be SAFE FOR WORK (SFW)

4. The sprite must be formatted into a sprite sheet evenly)

5. Write the name of the bug and a short description of flavor text in this format:

//USERNAME//BUG NAME//DESCRIPTION

6. The rules and guidelines for creating a terrarium: custom environments must be either 96x112 for small rooms, or 192x112 for large rooms.

To submit your entry and to be updated join the Collab Discord Server. The deadline for this collab is March 8th, that’s over a month away. Follow the news post for more information and questions.

@RepriseAgain is back again! His South Park Collab was a Wimmelbilder of characters designed after South Park to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ray - Part 1. Below are the rules and guidelines for this collaboration.

• Submit at least one full-body character dressed for the summer.
• Create your character digitally, or provide a high-quality scan of a traditional piece.
• Submit your character as a .PNG with a transparent background at a decent resolution (between 960x960 and 1000x1000 px).

To celebrate the legacy of Flash, it is time to look back at some of the Newgrounds games and movies that helped build Newgrounds. With @RepriseAgain hosting the South Park Collab to celebrate this game’s anniversary, I felt it necessary to highlight it for this week’s Flash Portal History. This game has a spiritual successor on Steam that you can play called Repella Fella! It goes to show how far Flash has taken many animators and developers have not only gotten their start with Flash, but has grown with it throughout the years.

Good Morning Newgrounds! Last week, The Tank Tribune was featured on the Frontpage for the first time! Therefore we have a lot of new readers to the paper! For the new readers, Welcome to The Tank Tribune! There have been periods in my life where I had to step away from Newgrounds and the Internet as a whole. During my absences, I would miss out on a lot of the new movies, games, contests, jams, etc. Tom’s news posts on the NG News Forum, didn’t seem to have a lot of space to cover a lot on the site. I had already been working on The Interviewer here on Newgrounds for over ten years, I figured I would make a Newgrounds newspaper. This idea was inspired by Hermitcraft’s Weekly Recap and @Graeme’s YouTube series This Week on Newgrounds. The goal, to recap the previous week’s events and upcoming events. I also want to highlight different artists and musicians who have few followers, to gather news from those who have gone overlooked, or events that Tom probably missed. I feel I have done a pretty good job on this front and I’m always looking to improve this paper going forward. I thank all of the new readers who have joined! Last Tuesday was Pixel Day! There were a lot of great entries for this year’s Pixel Day! We had entries from @NerRavine, @gatekid3, @BluePinGames, and @AlbeGian. The banner you see was made by @donpeppi. The 9th Annual Pixel Day went off with a success!

Flash Forward Jam & Other Events

With Pixel Day come and gone, the Flash Forward Jam is coming up next! When Adobe cut off support for Macromedia Flash, Newgrounds decided to start a contest to keep the legacy of Flash alive. The goal is to make a Flash Game or Flash Movie with Interactive Elements. You can check out last year’s entries here.

Adobe Archive links removed!

@YendorNG has some sad news for animators. AnimateArchive has removed a lot of its Flash legacy programs due to Adobe implementing its copyright on said programs to remove the installer for them. Here is the full message from AnimateArchive.

A message to AnimateArchive users:

Adobe has recently begun taking measures to shut down Animate Archive. While they are technically within their legal rights, this will have a devastating effect on our community. As of today, none of the links on the archive work.

It saddens me to admit that the future of the archive is uncertain. Users deserve accessible, user-friendly, and affordable software, but Adobe's shift towards subscription models has moved away from these principles.

Subscription-based models often lead to less efficient development and higher prices. They allow companies to stop focusing on making the best tools they can, and instead focus on services and retention rates. In contrast, platforms like Steam by Valve, Blender by The Blender Foundation, and other user-first initiatives thrive because they put user needs and affordable access first.

Hell, much of today's technology owes its existence to open-source software and the dedicated individuals behind it. Without their contributions, the tech landscape, as well as the greedy corporations that profit from it, would be vastly different. It's the individuals, not the corporations, who genuinely care about delivering quality and accessible tools. They are the true backbone of our digital advancements.

I am sadly only one person. I often joke about what 1000 of me could do, but it's true. Projects like Animate Archive take time to cultivate and build, and that can be very difficult to balance with a full-time job. While I'll continue to do what I can, as I love Flash and believe it's one of the best multimedia tools around, I encourage everyone to look towards and support alternatives built by companies and individuals that care about their users.

This is why the preservation of Flash and the Flash Forward Jam are both important. If you want to help keep the legacy of Flash alive, then consider donating to Newgrounds and Ruffle.

@AED-4 has announced the Newgrounds Music Triathlon. There is a lot going on in this contest, so if you want the full details, follow the link in the picture above to go to the news post. The Tank Tribune will provide a primer below.

Much like a real triathlon, the goal is for composers to test their skills and abilities through three phases, each lasting two weeks. The contest is already underway with Phase 1 being The Reclaimed Land and the challenge being Three Track Limitation. More information on Phase 1 can be found in the Discussion Thread.

To enter the contest, join the Newgrounds Audio Pub Discord Server. You can team up with one other person for this contest, you also don’t have to compete in each phase. You must also not submit your song publicly to Newgrounds. It must be posted on a file sharing site or your Dumping Grounds on Newgrounds, then a link is sent to AED-4. The judging process will also work differently. For all of the guidelines for submission and voting can be seen in the news post. Below is the calendar for the triathlon.

Super Dangerous Dungeons won 2nd Place on the first Pixel Day and was given to us by @AdventureIslands and music by @KungFuFurby. This wasn’t the first game of its kind by AdventureIslands. He would give us Tiny Dangerous Dungeons, Steam Rogue GB, and Duke Dashington, which would later be remastered.

Removed submission id 666

@Quinnfinity3 has uncovered a Newgrounds Mystery. Every Newgrounds entry for each Portal contains an ID number. Even submissions that have been BLAMMED include their own ID number. However, there is no submission available for ID number 666. It’s not due to copyright music, it’s been this way since 2008, that can be seen using the Wayback Machine. It is quite the mystery.

I haven’t written a large issue of The Tank Tribune in quite a while. Getting my work back in order has been liberating. Having the support of Tom and a lot of Newgrounds members is wonderful. I am really thankful that The Tank Tribune was shared on the Frontpage. The latest interview with James Lee was also shared, so that makes both of my biggest projects to hit the Frontpage. It is rare to be a writer and be featured on the Frontpage, I hope this opens the doors for other writers to be a part of the world’s biggest refrigerator. Rex was exceptionally proud of me, that warms my heart. Thank you to all of my newest readers and my patrons on Patreon.

Pixel Day Project Teaser

@ProsciuttoMan, @Paytonio, @Dry, and @Roverkibb, were looking back at ProsciuttoMan’s game portfolio and realized how his game Gate of Hades has become outdated over the years. His goal is to reimagine the game. Then a realization of Pixel Day coming up, they have decided to remake the game with the following. He will also be working with @PostElvis again for this project.

• A brand new, completely original soundtrack
• Completely reimagined character designs and sprites: made to give off the feel of an old Sega Genesis game
• 12 unique levels set in 6 distinct worlds
• Somewhere between 4 and 6 new enemies with unique behavior, depending on how you count things

I'll try to make it as easy as possible, so if you wanna join all you gotta do is DM me your track via Dropbox, WeTransfer or Google Drive, You don't need to join a server specifically for this project. Once the collab is finished and released you can just post it whenever you want, I'll be combining them all into one long track with some background stuff for added ambience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• To reiterate, think about what "Mall Music/Elevator Music/Muzak" means to you, and make it a song.
• Your track must be no longer than 3 minutes and 30 seconds. In general Muzak is typically pretty short, probably 2:30 to 3 minutes. it focuses on catchiness and trying blend into the noise if that makes sense.
• Track must be a 16-bit WAV File format. I know Newgrounds only allows MP3s so it sounds pointless, but its for mixing sake.
• After the collab is released and you want to post your single to NG, tag with "NG-Mall-Collab". It's so I can add it to a playlist.
• Nothing A-rated. I don't know how you'd do that but thought I'd just state it now.
• That's it.

@JAMRIOT and @AhWham are teaming up to host a collaboration for bedtime stories. Teams must consist of a writer, a narrator, and a composer. Someone to write the bedtime story, someone to read the bedtime story, and a composer to make the backing track of a bedtime story. The goal of your piece to be something chill and relaxed to go to sleep to. If you’re having trouble finding teammates, check out The Jamcave for writers and NGAP Collab Center for narrators and musicians.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR TEAM’S ENTRY

• Send @JAMRIOT a .wav file over Discord.
• Whichever team member sends the entry should include a credits of those who worked on it.
• Submissions should be between 5-10 minutes long.
• All pieces will be compiled in an Audio Project on Newgrounds.
• The Deadline is by the end of March 20th EST.

Good Morning Newgrounds! It is amazing to me how many people have been here on the site for five, ten, even twenty years! With Newgrounds turning 30 Years Old next year! Imagine that if you will. A website, a content website, that has been around for 30 years. Newgrounds has survived the Dot Com Bubble, the Adpocalypse that affected YouTube and spread throughout the rest of the Internet, and every bit of controversy that came before it. This site, the people here, it is truly a magical place. If you're a Newgrounds member with social media outside the site, you should be sharing anything and everything with people outside it. All the movies, the games, the music, and the artwork! Support Newgrounds in any way you can. I have two prints from artists here on the site hanging up in my house. I use music from the site for my Dungeons & Dragons campaign for my friends. I share some funny movies with people outside. I see the growth of game developers and can tell people that the creators of said indie game came from Newgrounds. Like I said, the site will be turning 30 Years Old next year. Treasure Hunt 2024

@SplatterDash and I are looking to fill vacancies for judges for this year's Treasure Hunt! If you don't know what the Treasure Hunt is, here's a primer. The goal is to find underrated gems on Newgrounds in all four Portals. Movies, Games, Audio, and Art. These cannot have been on the Frontpage or win won one of the Awards on the site for the previous calendar year, this being 2023. You have one week to look for treasure. There will be judges for each Portal, whose job it is to rate them. The best Treasure in each Portal is announced! A Prize Pool is collected during this time, which is divided between the four Portals. It is split between the person who found the Treasure and the person who created the Treasure. You have four chances to win with entries from each Portal.

For this month, The Tank Tribune has been highlighting pixel movies and games that were around before Pixel Day. The pixel motif wasn’t as big on Newgrounds in the early days. Sprite movies were quite the rage with the popularity of Super Mario Bros. Z.. The one we’re going to look at today is I Dream In Retro by @OrinCreed. The inspiration came behind a dream he had of going through multiple levels of games after spending all night playing NES, SNES, and Genesis games.

“The economy is in shambles, world wide. Herbert Thompson, former winner of the economic Nobel prize, plans to attend a summit in Berlin, where he wants to hold a speech that proposes a solution for these economic voes - but his car gets hacked and run against a tree, killing him and heavily injuring the other passenger who also worked with him on the scientific paper.

Jan, caretaker and basically just a normal guy, sees that agents set the crashed car on fire and take documents with them - the slowly arriving police misses that key event and think that Jan is the main suspect in a possible murder.

As such Jan has no choice but to flee the scene and try to find the man whose name the dying car passenger managed to utter : Fitzroy.

Decent book. The economic theory stuff is very interesting but gets kinda lost in the action heavy, fast paced story.”

Welcome back to the Sunday Matinee. Where we highlight the movies from the Newgrounds Portal that have captivated its users through generations. This week we’re taking a look at all of the movies that won Best of the Month for the year of 2023 as voted on by Newgrounds Members!

This year, @PringusMcDingus picked up the most Best of the Month Awards, winning four times! In February with queso, March with Resident Evil 4… I Think., June with wonder, and August with Calamity. The Monkey Wrench series picked up two Month Awards in April and December with Episode 2 and Episode 3. @JoelG also picked up two Month Awards for ENA: Dream BBQ - Official Trailer in January, and in November for ENA - Power of Potluck. @JamesLee NOX series picked up two Month Awards as well. The Tank Tribune is back in almost full force. There have been updates to the Playlist features and a lot of cleaning up I have to do with said playlists with these new features. That is what I intend to work on for the rest of Sunday and possibly Monday, as long as the weather where I'm at doesn't knock the power or the Internet out. I've got my fingers crossed on that front. This coming Saturday and Sunday I'll be spending time with Rex. I'm looking forward to that. Good Morning Newgrounds! Or should I say Afternoon at the time of posting this. I've been getting a lot of my writing back in order, so last night exhausted me, so sorry for the delay in the paper today. For my patrons on Patreon, The Tank Tribune will be releasing one whole day early going forward, so you can get the news of Newgrounds on Saturday before everyone else does! This will be for the Producer tier only though. Enough about that though. Newgrounds has closed out 2023 and entered 2024, by getting hacked. Hey it happens, and the site is beefing up its security going forward. More information in this post for that. Pixel Day is coming up this month and the Flash Forward Jam won't be too far behind it. It is good to be back writing The Tank Tribune! Thank you for helping get this paper to 1,000 Followers. That still blows my mind! Email 2FA and Account Security

There have been some recent incidents with people’s accounts being broken into. A 2-Factor Authorization set-up has become available with the use of an authenticator app. There are instructions below on how to better secure your account.

1. Use a strong password, meaning a long combination of various characters. Avoid single words or common phrases.
2. Enable 2FA on your account. This can be done via the “Login Options and 2-Factor Authentication” link on your Account page.
3. Consider also choosing the option to log in with your email address instead of your username, so any attempts to log in using your username will fail. You can also do this via the Login Options page.
4. Make sure your email address is up-to-date and your account isn’t connected to an email address you no longer have access to.
5. Use a unique password for each platform you use, so a compromised account from one place doesn’t impact your account in other places.

@YendorNG has also posted some steps to take. He has had history working technical support for a large Internet Service Provider. Especially if you play any multiplayer video games online that require an E-Mail. If you can disable cookies on websites then do so, if you can’t then clear your browser cookies every time you log off. Doesn’t matter what you do, get into that habit. You may be able to set-up your browser to clear your Internet history and cookies every time you close your browser.

VPN logins have been blocked for a while. With the recent addition of the E-Mail 2FA, VPN logins should be working fine again. If you are experiencing any bugs, you can message Tom here on Newgrounds or through Newgrounds E-Mail.

The 9th Annual Pixel Day is this month! January 23rd! We celebrate the minute form of art, pixel by pixel to create masterpieces. The holidays wiped me out this year. I hosted a Christmas party this year, attended two other Christmas parties, all of these I went with Rex to. There just wasn't any time to breathe. I popped onto Newgrounds when I had time to spare. It's just been exhausting to say the least. I have returned though and I'm ready to bring all I can to Newgrounds. Not just through The Tank Tribune, but through my other five projects as well, which are about to turn to six and seven other projects. It's time to get this workhorse back to work.

Hello. First off I want to say thank you to all of you for getting The Tank Tribune to 1000 Fans. I never thought this project would reach that much on Newgrounds. It means the world to me.

The holidays are always a huge strain on me, celebrating both Hanukkah and Christmas, working my day job like a dog, and now I have a friend on life support right now, who from the looks of things is going to be taken off of life support within the next day or two.

Wiesi, 1977-2023

Sad news has hit Newgrounds. One of Newgrounds longest and beloved members @Wiesi has passed away. He was known on the site for the Shark series. He has contributed to Newgrounds in every aspect imaginable. Originally under the name @Wiesi-Mausland, he’s been with the site since 2002. NEWGROUNDS SECRET SANTA 2023

The holiday season is around the corner! @Xinxinix is hosting this year’s Secret Santa once again! He started it alongside @@D3writo with extreme help from @Template88. An annual art-trade with multiple artists. There are some big changes this year.

BIG CHANGES

• We have a NG Secret Santa public Discord server for questions, as well as this forum.
• You MUST BE SCOUTED IN THE ART PORTAL this year !!!
• Your reference MUST BE UPLOADED TO THE ART PORTAL
• Your reference must be drawn by you and not by any kind of template software
• ABSOLUTELY NO AI ART OR THIRD PARTY CHARACTER CREATOR SOFTWARE
• NO panty shots or explicit boob (nothing rated M or promiscuous)
• ALL CHARACTER INFORMATION MUST BE ADDED TO THE USER PROFILE
• You CANNOT update your secret santa user profile once you're assigned a secret santa !!!
• If your reference makes the receiver uncomfortable, they are by no means obligated to draw it !!!
• All art forms (including GIFs, but not animation portal entries) are accepted as long as it's not a stolen asset
• You're encouraged to write "To:" and "From:" on your gift
• Reminder to upload your finished drawing to the Art Portal AFTER the big reveal
• We will be actively seeking feedback at the end of this event ^^

Other than these minor changes (and the whole automated system implemented by @PsychoGoldfish last year) we are on a fast track to having this as optimized as possible.

Revive the 2000s Collaboration

The 2000s had a unique art style to it. Where the 90’s were refusing to die and the new millennium was promising newer tech, even edgier content, and the future! @StationTerminal is looking to capture that time of history with a collaboration. There are no guidelines or set deadlines at the moment, so jump in!

$5000 prize pool - The Chosen One Tournament teaser!

@Hyun from The Dojo is hosting an animation tournament! The prize pool is set at $5,000. There’s only one round and one animation for you to submit. Judges include Weilin Zhang, Howard Wimshurst, Telepurte, Miccool, and Juny. The tournament begins on December 1st. Check out the video below to learn how to join the tournament. You not only have a chance at winning a cash prize, but your work will be viewed by some big industry animators.

During a period of Newgrounds time when the site was losing traffic to the rapid growth of social media, Wiesi never faltered. He constantly posted on Tom's news posts in the forums, left reviews and feedback whenever he had the time, and was constantly experimenting a lot with games on Newgrounds. His works were mentioned in the news and helped bring more eyes to the site with his Shark series. The legacy he left behind will always be remembered. Thank you Wiesi, for everything.

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Good Morning Newgrounds! How have things been with all of you! Things have been rough these past two months. Things are looking up for the end of the year though, so there's that! You're going to hear a lot about a user named Aalasteir in this issue of The Tank Tribune, which that was not by design, he's just been doing a lot on the site. From helping clean up the Portal in The Elite Guard Barracks and the Audio Portal Cleanup threads, to hosting collaborations, posting music to the Audio Portal, hosting his personal podcast A100 and hosting a podcast alongside myself with @ClubNG, he has been a busy fellow. We are in the month of November, with the Spooktacular over, we're awaiting the results on those winners, in the meantime the Best of October has been voted on. NG Money Gang: Mission 2

The Money Gang was an official success with Salad Fingers 13. The goal is Newgrounds members with disposable income to put money towards sponsoring future artists. By doing so, the project will debut on Newgrounds first before going anywhere else and will receive Newgrounds branding.

The next project will be episode 3 of the Monkey Wrench series by @Zeurel. The past two episodes have won Best of July 2022 and Best of April 2023. Zeurel has produced a lot of great work here on Newgrounds, even being nominated for a Tank Award for Best Movie back in 2010. If you are able to donate to the Money Gang, then PM Tom and the amount in which you would like to contribute. Once the project is greenlit then Tom will give you the follow-up to send the money. The minimum contributions he’s looking for is $100 USD.

If you can’t make that kind of commitment, but still want to help Newgrounds, don’t despair. You can still become a Newgrounds Supporter which is still a huge help.

@Flamadour has posted a reminder about The Battle of The Bands Deadline. The deadline to signup is November 16th, that’s this Thursday. Learn about the details and how to join in the official thread here. After the deadline, bands will have two weeks to make their songs. Be sure to have your song ready to auto-publish on November 30th at 10:00PM | EST. If you’re not sure how to tag multiple Newgrounds members to a song, auto-publish, or have any other questions regarding uploading your song to the Audio Portal, then be sure to query your questions in the Where is / How to / Help! Forum or message an Audio Moderator.

Playlist / Series / Album / Collection Update

The playlist feature has been updated! The Tank Tribune will be doing some cleaning up with its own playlists over the coming week. The Collections and Series pages have been migrated to the playlist feature. You can now look up playlists using the search function! Which you can nest playlists together! Playlists in playlists, inception, *BWOOONG*! Check out some of Newgrounds classic series and collections in their new homes below!

The NGTV Christmas Collab

@Kolumbo is hosting a Christmas collaboration. The theme is some holiday special, commercial, or mindless holiday thing you would see on TV while channel surfing or lying about watching TV. A couch potato Christmas as it were. The collab is semi-open, where everyone can participate, but not all entries may be accepted in the final movie. If you’re interested, check out the thread above. The deadline is December 20th.

Tankmas Audio Message Collab

@Aalasteir is hosting a collab where you can wish the members of Newgrounds a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! The deadline to enter is November 29th with the collab being posted on December 1st. Below are the rules and submissions rubric.

The Transformers Collab Update!!

@CrockettDK has posted an update on the upcoming Transformers Collab. The deadline has been pushed back from late 2023 to January/February 2024. This will coincide with the 40th Anniversary of the Transformers franchise on May 29th. The change gives more time to prepare and celebrate the original collab on Newgrounds Blamformers!. If you want to apply then check out the details in the news post above. CrockettDK is looking for animators, artists, and musicians to help out with the collaboration! Collab requirements have also been altered from the original post, mistakes were made and errors corrected.

DannyGoodShirt has been with Newgrounds for five years. During that time he has brought us a yearly Halloween tradition, a collaboration entitled Dr. Good's Operating Theatre. He is also a talented writer, entering many Monthly Writing Contests, and hosting a Pico Day Writing Contest this year. He's also a boxer! He has done a lot for Newgrounds and we give him our thanks!

The Tank Tribune sat down to talk to DannyGoodShirt about the Dr. Good's Operating Theatre Collabs!

Q: Where did the idea for the collaboration Dr. Good's Operating Theatre come from?

A: My good friend @Rannitx and I were just messing around with ideas we could make creepy. We ended up having a fascination about old Operating Theaters in Italy, and thought it would be a fun setting for the Collab.

Q: This would mark the Collab's fifth anniversary. What are you looking forward in seeing in this year's Collab?

A: Honestly, this Collab has no expectations. I just want it to be fun. It's funny though, through this Collab where we encourage horror and disturbing animations, I've learned how tame most animators are.

Q: If you were to make a best of compilation of the past Collab's, which pieces would you pick?

A: Anything by @DakNjaxterLazerNails (they've submitted every year) or one of @mattyburrito's past submissions, but actually my favorite was @Numbnates Legend of Zelda: Linkle Redead short, but I wrote that one so I wouldn't count it haha. For Doctor Good's bits, my favorite is in the first Collab, where he eats the Chronenburger...

Q: With the new Multi-Image Support feature just launched. What comics do you have planned? Anyone you're looking to work on these comics with?

A: I want to repost Astromon! Webcomic to fit the new support feature, and I would love to work with @brebrz again at some point, they did beautiful art for Astromon! To be honest Newgrounds has so many talented artists. I'm a big fan of @aetherionArt, @twosipsofbleach, @doublemaximus, @Raviolibox, @snackers and so many more, but they are all super popular and probably busy with their own awesome projects. lol I tend to lean toward manga-influenced styles and would love to work with anyone for sure.

Upcoming Rap Project! [Not in October]

@Vista-Sound13 is a sound you have heard in just about every Sunday Phonograph here on The Tank Tribune. He’s working on a rap project with a friend of his. He worked on the beat and his friend is working on the vocals. He also dropped a new song which you can listen to below!

The week can get people down sometimes. With all of the hustle and bustle and action packed drama that entails our lives, sometimes it's nice to just kickback and relax. Today we're going to take a look at an old collection of the site. The Assassin games. A collection of movies and games where celebrities, icons, and other pop culture figures, are destroyed!

The month of October was filled with some Halloween celebrations, spending more time with Rex, spending time with friends, and just being overworked at my day job. Seriously, one week I worked seven days in a row. On the sixth day, I went to a wedding right after work, then on the seventh day back to work in the morning, followed by work after that day to count inventory, then a day off to do some work on Newgrounds, what little I could, which included recording a podcast. My body is sore, my mind even more so, it is why this issue is up right before Sunday breaks, at least where I'm at. I just need to sleep, and actual sleep. I hope you all enjoyed this jam packed edition of The Tank Tribune, sorry for the lack of issues the past couple of weeks. There's just been a lot of just plain shit happening. Sorry for the delays in getting The Tank Tribune out. The past two weeks my day job and events have been pulling me away from Newgrounds. I've hosted a Halloween Party, worked eight days straight at my day job, and attended a wedding. I've been working on next week's issue and I'm looking to make The Tank Tribune a Supporter account so I can clean up the playlists with the new features available.
