I have been feeling tired lately, more than usual these past two weeks. I’ve been feeling better though, so I hope to be able to work more on The Tank Tribune for all of you. I’m gonna be spending this weekend cleaning up the paper overall.

NG Brasil Roll Call

Brazil has banned access to X/Twitter. A lot of Brazilian artists on other social/art platforms this weekend. Tom is looking for those from Brazil to sound off. He is asking that you share your works with the site and give yourself an introduction in the thread linked above. Those who have answered the roll call include @UnevenPrankster, @LoboF, @HENOOB, @Arzonaut, @vrds022, @YamiYinYang, and beloved NSFW artist @Edeshye.

@Arzonaut is hosting a Brazil Art Contest to celebrate all of the new users to the site! The theme of the contest is to draw an original character representing Brazil through a theme or vibe. From being in a Brazil setting, wearing Brazilian colors, or eating or drinking Brazilian foods and drinks. You don’t have to limit yourself to one character either!

Judges include @Arzonaut, @Abstract, @CometZz, @MitsuTan, @Kazukoto, and @MatthewLopz. The deadline is October 13th | 11:59 PM EST. Upload your piece to the Art Portal with the tag “brazil day 2024”. If you have posted relevant art to the theme, then you can just add the appropriate tag. If you piece has been posted elsewhere, then you can post it here as well.

Monthly Voting Overhaul

The voting for Best of August is live! If you’re one of those selected for the monthly voting process, changes have been made to split the Movie and Games into their own categories. Art and Music have been added to the Best of the Month! Now The Tank Tribune will be posting the Best from each Portal, instead of relying on Top Featured Audio and Art.

Starry Tails: Looking For Main Character Voice

@LuckoDaStars, known for Dr. Good's Operating Theatre, Son Of The Musk, and Glyde the Dragon, just to name a few. He is in the works of a movie called Starry Tails and is looking for a voice actor for the character Lux. His voice is similar to that of Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog. There are examples of Tails’ voice he’s looking for (example 1 | example 2). Here’s information on Lux below.

• Lux is a golden yellow critter called a Starbunkle, a magical critter associated with fortune and jinxes. He is the 3rd smallest of his species but has the biggest ego, but also the biggest heart.
• Lux when he wants to look impressive or cute, he plays the cute card or boasts about how great he is. but when things go serious, he drops the act and make sure the people he loves are tended to.
