Good Morning Newgrounds! Sorry for the one day delay. I was spending time the whole day with a friend of mine having a gay day. That's neither here nor there. The month of March is fast approaching, with Pico Day not too far off. List Jam 2 has been announced. We have Newgrounders celebrating their site anniversaries. We really need a name for your Newgrounds Sign-Up Anniversary. Newgrounds Birthday sounds a bit generic. Shout out to @Graeme just because he's awesome! The Newgrounds Treasure Hunt has brought a lot of cool stuff in the Portal. We revisit the Musk Jam. Without further ado, here are the hip happenings on Newgrounds!

Flash Forward Jam - DEADLINE EXTENSION
The Flash Forward Jam's deadline has been extended from March 26th to April 20th. If you haven't finished your entry yet, you can breathe now. You have more time now, but not much. Use it wisely. Don't forget to add the tag “Flash-Forward-2023” on your entry before the end of the day on April 20th.
Newgrounds Audio Portal 20th Anniversary Collab
@ThatJohnnyGuy and @VoicesByCorey are working on a collaboration to celebrate the Newgrounds Audio Portal turning 20 years old. If you want to participate in the collab then you better hurry. The deadline to join is March 1st, that's this coming Wednesday! Become a part of Newgrounds history!
List Jam 2
The latest game jam is List Jam 2. This was a jam that we celebrated last year. @MigMoog, @Default, @nokoi and @Tiny are hosting it. Participants have until the end of the day March 1st to create a game that incorporates two or more items from lists. Below are the lists. If you're a game developer looking to make something quick, then get a move on! You have only until this Wednesday! Just don't forget the tag “ListJam2” so it can be found and judged.
MigMoog’s List:
- On or off, no in-betweens
- Unstoppable force meets immovable object
- Two inputs with randomly swapped actions
- Black Box Testing (Output is given with an unknown process)
Default’s List:

Newgrounds Summerfest Application Deadline
The deadline to participate in this year's Summerfest is approaching. If you want to be a part of the panel, have an event idea, host a contest, or become a volunteer. Be sure to have your application submitted before April 5th. The Summerfest will be on August 25th-27th. This year it will not only broadcast through Discord, but through YouTube as well!
Pico Day
Our annual Pico Day is approaching fast. The date being on May 6th. If you didn't have time to participate in the Flash Forward Jam or can't get something out for the List Jam. Then you have plenty of time to make something for Pico Day.
This past Friday's episode of Off The Wall, we had the multiple time winner of Best Moderator on the Newgrounds BBS. The mother of the forums, the one and only @DrSevenSeizeMD. She tells us stories about chickens, glitter, Fallout, Mardi Gras, and King Cakes. It is a hoot n' an half of fun!
Which some news. During Season 4, ThatJohnnyGuy may need to step down as host going forward. There will be an opening for a new host. Details are still being discussed. If you're interested in hosting a podcast alongside The-Great-One, please stand by for more information.

@MayaLaCookie has been feeling creativity burnout lately. They have put a lot of their effort into one big project. They haven't been doing so well mentally. MayaLaCookie has been journaling to stay on track of their projects. The Tank Tribune has welcomed them to Newgrounds in Issue NO. 38. We have talked about their burnout in the past. Then when MayaLaCookie celebrated one year on Newgrounds. It is great to see MayaLaCookie come so far on Newgrounds. The Tank Tribune hopes you will get the peace of mind you need and that your works will become better than ever!
Animated Short - Update

Avatar The Last Airbender - Recreated!
@ThrJester is looking to start a collaboration to reanimate one episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each animator will animate a few seconds shot in any style they choose. It will all be put together into one episode. The project is also looking to contain remixes of the songs and voice actors. It is a non-paid passion project. If you're interested you can PM ThrJester here on Newgrounds, send an E-Mail, or join the Discord server. Any questions can be put into the thread.

@FrozenFire would bring us an ambitious project entitled Relive Your Life. Throughout mini games, narration from @Egoraptor, and music from the Audio Portal, you would bring to life your creation. There are a lot of ups and downs, some laughs are had, but in the end, we all must go. It is an incredible game from beginning to end with a ton of replay value.
"I was actually about 90% done with Relive Your Life when I was at Pico Day, because the game was made as a college assignment and it was due the day I got back. I finished putting it together on the plane ride to Texas. At the beginning of that month, I messaged Arin out of the blue and asked him, "Hey we are both going to be at Pico Day! Would you like to work with me on something?" I warned him it was a lot of voice work, but he didn't skip a beat to say yes. He was in the middle of a move too, so that just speaks wonders for his character."
