Good Morning Newgrounds and Happy Pride Month! I hope you all are enjoying the redesign of The Tank Tribune! The Portals were dominated by the women of Newgrounds last week. We celebrated two birthdays, on the same day! Ben Tibbetts has given us a monthly update. There will be Quiplash. ThatJohnnyGuy's podcast the Off the Wall Show is featuring members of Newgrounds, in which you can be on the show! Pico Day is on the horizon! ThatJohnnyGuy is taking a new approach to his third season by bringing in Newgrounds members to talk about their lives and work. @Blaznthekid recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. He finished his Senior Capstone project entitled Creative Struggle, which won a Daily 3rd Place on Newgrounds. @LuckyDee provided the voice acting and @axcle provided the music. Check it out if you get the chance!

For Pico Day 2008, @Zombie-Pimp would grace Newgrounds with an entry where the Pico was out for a fight and the Kitty Krew was the target. Alongside @Afro-Ninja and @Eronn, with music by @ParagonX9, @Liau, @NemesisTheory, and @Reasoner, came House of 1000 Cats. This would be the third annual Pico Day and this entry would go on to win 1st Place!
"Kitty Krew was 'ruining' newgrounds in the eyes of many, but in my opinion their presence was welcome. I found their spam delightfully amusing, and their comraderie and their synchronized ability to work together, even if it wasn't for the most productive cause, was something I found very commendable. My goal for House of 1000 Cats was to make something that everybody would like, I wanted the haters of the Kitty Krew to like it but I also wanted the Kitty Krew themselves to enjoy the cartoon. I just wanted something that would bring the whole community together, and to really capture the dynamics of the newgrounds community in 2008."

I have five stitches across the knuckle on my thumb. Thumb knuckle? Thukncke? I dunno. Typing without my thumb has been an ordeal. I feel like I'm operating a linotype more than a keyboard.
