“100 IS COMING!”
LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Good Morning Newgrounds! Don’t panic by the title, this is just the last issue with only two digits, with next week being Issue NO. 100. That will be a grand time to celebrate. I remember back during The Interviewer when I hit the 100th Interview. Difference is that I had that planned out for a while, with a subsequent backup plan. I haven’t had much time to think about what the 100th issue for The Tank Tribune would be or what I should even do for it! I’m sure I’ll think of something, I mean I got six days right? Anyways… the Flash Forward Jam is currently underway, with the Treasure Hunt making its return soon! We are celebrating everything Flash related during this jam! Johnny Rocketfingers is making another appearance in the Tribune. Luis is back from Lithuania. The Tank Tribune is shilling Newgrounds merch. Without further ado, here are the hip happenings on Newgrounds!

PHP Update
Newgrounds works off of the LAMP architecture (Linux, Apache, MariaDB and PHP). The code has been updated due to depreciation. If you spot any bugs or having any trouble with parts of the site, update your findings in the thread or contact Tom. You can also look at Newgrounds Status Page to see how it’s running.
Sharing My Music and Sound Effects
Since 2016 @EricMatyas has been sharing music and sound effects with Newgrounds. He’s still sharing his works today for people to use in movies and games. With Flash Forward Jam underway, it might not be a bad idea to take a look. If you can donate to his works, he would surely appreciate it.

@Charupopu has started up a new collab in the Art Forum. This collaboration is in its infancy right now. With the goal being games from the Sega Genesis. The rules and guidelines are below, the deadline is August 20th, 2024.
JOINING GUIDELINES
- Everyone that wishes to join the collab MUST join the discord server linked right below.
- You must talk with me, Charupopu, and send me a portfolio of your artwork to get either approved or disapproved. Being approved also gives you access to the server.
- Once you get approved, You may choose the game you wish to draw art for in the spreadsheet. If a game is taken by someone else, find another.
- Lastly, after choosing your game, record your artist name and your socials so I can give credit to your artwork properly.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Keep the content of your art on the scale of E - M rated, meaning you can draw gore or suggestive topics in your submission. But no complete NSFW or else you will be disqualified.
- Make sure your illustration is a saved as a PNG. imagine saving art as a jpeg lol.
- Your art MUST be made on Digital.
- NO AI and NO NFTs are allowed. If you insist on making with that shit, guess what happens next, you'll find out.
- This one is needless to say but please don't be this lazy and reuse old art you already made.
- Give your art a name as well.
- You may publish your work in the discord server. But to keep things a surprise, don't share it outside the server until the full collab is done and published on Newgrounds.
