Good Morning Newgrounds! I hope you all had a fantastic Pico Day yesterday! The Newgrounds Audio DeathMatch has begun! We will be giving you details on the DeathMatch with each issue going forward! The Tank Tribune is turning two years old Tuesday and there will be an issue for that! It will also serve as a recap of this year's Pico Day. The Best of May has been announced! Piconjo Day has almost come and gone with a lot of love for Piconjo! That's just a tidbit of what has been going on! Without further ado, here are the hip happenings of Newgrounds!

NEWGROUNDS TORONTO MEETUP JUNE 25
@ninjamuffin99 recently moved to Toronto is quite lonely. He's hosting a Newgrounds Meetup at College Park on Yonge Street, Toronto, Canada. The event will then be moved to Fran's Restaurant and Bar, 20 College Street (right around the corner from College Park). Cartoon Network is attempting live action shows again. Their reason? Apparently, girls graduate from animation and prefer to see live action sitcoms involving comedy and drama. If you're of the female demographic and like cartoons, you're supposed to grow out of it according to Cartoon Network.
The Newgrounds Audio DeathMatch 2022
It is that time of year again, and The Tank Tribune will be covering the action for the entirety of the contest. The Audition Round has already begun, with the deadline being June 26th. This year the contest is being hosted by last year's winner @LD-W. If you're an established member of the Audio Portal here on Newgrounds, LD-W is looking for judges.
What is the DeathMatch?
The NGADM is one of Newgrounds biggest contests. It is where musicians are put against one another in head-to-head competition, tournament style. There is an audition phase where you post one piece of your work to represent yourself to see if you make the cut to Round 1. This year though there is the addition of a Loser's Bracket, so if you get knocked out early, you can climb your way back up!
AUDITION ROUND RULES
- You may submit any covers, mashups, remixes, VIPs, loops, or any work started before the beginning of the round.
- You are not allowed to submit anything that is considered a MIDI rip and/or stolen song, as per the Audio Portal Guidelines: Audio Guidelines
There will be cash prizes for the DeathMatch, with the current sponsors being @TomFulp, @olskoo, @Bleak-Creep, and @TeffyD!

Almost at 800 Followers. That's insane. When this paper started it only had 40 Followers. That was mostly because I shared the debut issue around to all of my friends here on Newgrounds. I love that this paper is how a lot of people start their Sunday mornings or relax in the evenings. I recently got my stitches removed from my thumb. There will be pictures in my next Weekly Review. My project June Games has suffered due to it. I'm playing catch up though. I want to thank all of you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic Sunday morning!
