LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Good Morning Newgrounds! Welcome to the redesign of The Tank Tribune! I've been tinkering with a redesign for a while now and with @Filiprb releasing the Newgrounds Font, I just had to use it. We have some features from the past making a return to the paper as well as some new additions! One being as you have noticed. We're back on Sundays going forward! The Member's Choice section has been removed, a new addition in the Community section has taken its place. The Sunday Console has returned with games to play! Tom has been jamming to music and rocking on! F-777 has been on fire with music production lately. I hope you enjoy the new redesign and are looking forward to joining me every Sunday for The Tank Tribune! With that out of the way, here are the hip happenings of Newgrounds!

Tom saw Nine Inch Nails perform! He has seen them perform before and has met Trent Reznor multiple times. Tom also noted that @bob is running the Thirsty Dice website. Tom will also be seeing Run the Jewels with @IvanAlmighty in August, during the Adult Swim Block Party. @psychicpebbles will also be in town that weekend for a Smiling Friends panel, if you're in the area then check it out!
Music to Make Games To
Tom makes playlists of songs that he like for each month. He kind of dropped off a bit. It has resurged with May. He made it with songs that are upbeat. Something to listen to inspire game ideas or make a game with. I listened to this playlist myself as well as others while working on The Tank Tribune. It's been one of the sources for songs to feature in the Phonograph section!

Mix 'n' Match (Pilot)
@9hammer, the creator of the Solace and Chaotic Heart series, launched a pilot of a new series entitled Mix 'n' Match. He's working on this pilot alongside @PhasmaGORE and @realporter. It was covered as part of P-Bot's Weekly Daily Features when it won a Daily Feature. If you haven't seen it yet or 9hammer's other series, this is the time to check it out!
Back at the beginning of 2009, @Bigfoot3290 would give us a funny sprite animation of Mario trying to destroy the castle in Super Mario World. And failing multiple times. This movie would go on to win the Daily Feature and Weekly 2nd Place. It would spawn two sequels, a spiritual successor, and collaborations from other Newgrounds creators!

The week can get people down sometimes. With all of the hustle and bustle and action packed drama that entails our lives, sometimes it's nice to just kickback and relax. Here are a few games to play to unwind on this Sunday Morning.

I have been so excited to launch this redesign. It was a labor of love. It's also great to be able to post these on Sundays once again! I can't post them right at 6AM anymore, even I have to sleep. It is nice to have it ready for those night owls though, or those who have to be awake at 3AM, 4AM, or 5AM for their day jobs. I thank all of you for joining me this morning. The 2 Year Anniversary of The Tank Tribune is approaching, a special Anniversary Issue will be in the works for that. I will be working on projects not only for my Dohn page, but the Archive as well. Thank you to all of my patrons on Patreon, and all the followers here on The Tank Tribune. To think, when the paper started there were 40 readers. Now there's almost 800! It is incredible! Thanks for reading! I am open to feedback on the redesign. I hope you all have a fantastic Sunday morning!
