Good Morning Newgrounds! A lot has been happening on the site lately! We have the Best of April announced! Newgrounds title font was dropped. We have had some updates to the site. milkypossum is on Spotify. There has been discussion and work being done with NFTs. A new reanimation collab is open, this time for Animaniacs. The Members of Newgrounds have been talking about a live action Pico movie. It has been a busy time with everybody hustling and bustling. Which some of the works being done are not suitable for children, so unfortunately this and most likely every issue going forward will have to be labeled M for Mature, or T for Teen if I'm lucky. With that out of the way, here are the hip happenings of Newgrounds!

Animaniacs 2020 Reanimation Collab

@REJAnimation is starting a reanimation collaboration for a segment from the Animaniacs 2020 reboot. It is the “Suffragette City” Song “Cartoon Rights” to fight for the rights for Animated Americans to vote. You can watch the song below. You can follow the thread for more details!

The Interviewer has been a bit behind lately. I would like to share with you, the inspiration for The Interviewer. It is with a project back on the Newgrounds Mag called Developer Spotlight. This is where interviews would be conducted with the animators and game developers of Newgrounds. Tom Fulp of Newgrounds, Randy Solem of Video Game Directors Cut, Dave of Retarded Animal Babies. Calm before the brainstorm

@Neroun has announced his first NFT collection. It is item cards. Each have an attribute and description that only the holder can see. Quality goes from Common to Divine. Each collection comes with a scroll that will give some info on the lore of Neuron's world. Half of the lore is written by a neural network.

Sprite animation was pretty big on Newgrounds from 2004-2009. The last sprite series we talked about on here was the Super Mario Bros. Z series by Alvin-Earthworm. The other series would be entitled Bowser's Kingdom. It is the story of Jeff the Goomba and Hal the Koopa working for Bowser. It became one of Newgrounds most quotable series. Both Jeff and Hal even cameoed in Super Mario Bros. Z. If you haven't experienced @araskin500 and @pthouse hilarious series, now is the time.

Album of the Week ♫

@Jackho started a thread back in 2019. It was a way of sharing albums, discussing them, and rating them. A lot of Newgrounds members were introduced to music they may not listen to. The last album shared in the thread was in October 2019. How it worked was thus...

1. We throw our names into a randomizer
2. Whoever gets picked chooses an album for the following week
3. You listen to the album either in your own time, or as part of a totally radical listen-along discord group so we can REACT together.

I've been tinkering with an idea for another project. Something similar to The Tank Tribune. I won't say anymore besides that for now. As always thank you to my Patrons on Patreon. I am looking to rework the Member's Choice section of the paper. It can look a lot better than it does. The Tank Tribune's second anniversary is coming up in June.
