LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

This week's issue covered the Daily Features, Best Audio, and Featured Artist. I haven't had time to work on the past two weeks issues that I was hoping for. Day job has been hell. Thankfully, my boss has given me some slack at work so I can still make money and have time to work on my writing. My apologies for this issue being lacking. Especially in the Community section. Thank you to @KayEf for being the new Patron on my Patreon. It means a lot to me. Especially during these times.

Art-Inspired Music Contest 2022

@Random-storykeeper is hosting this year's Art-Inspired Music Contest. If you want to participate the deadline is June 20th, 11:59PM PDT.

How the contest works:

1) You pick a single piece of artwork in the Art Portal from a Newgrounds artist you really appreciate (make sure to give them credit, message them when you're done).

2) Create a song inspired by that art and submit it by posting the link on this thread before the deadline! Be sure to post the link to the picture that inspired it as well as giving the name of the picture and artist!

We start the first week off with @JamesLee picking up his 31st Daily Feature for another entry in his NOX series with Elden Ring: Unironically Terrible. @KevinTemmer picks up their fifth Daily Feature for Somebody Else. A real-time strategy tower defense remake of the original beat'em up game Portal Defenders. @Sexual-Lobster has hit quite the milestone, winning his 90th Daily Feature for Earthly Pleasures. Wimp Witch: Episode One is a new series here on Newgrounds. It has won a Daily Feature for its team @cecameron, @rebekahamberclark, and @Saminat. Breaker (Trailer). @PringusMcDingus has won his 22nd Daily Feature for Meta Knight's Revenge. Cool Driver picks up a Daily Feature for @WrathClub, @LyleRath, and @BallBots. We close off these two weeks with @MindChamber winning his 30th Daily Feature for A Funkin' Alloy Mod Teaser. His first Daily Feature was for PuppyMunch back in June 2000.

We start off the first week at number five with @NairyBaptiste with Freedom. At number four is @DanosNanos with Twilight. And the number one song in the Audio Portal last week is touch by @vurb.

Been a While

@VicBiss has been working on their Flash Forward Jam. In the meantime, he recently graduated college and has learned how to use Unity and Unreal Engine. Flash dying hit him pretty hard. You can check out his latest project below.
