Good Morning Newgrounds! A new show called Central Park has hit Apple+ Tv. In one of the episodes is this song entitled Trying Too Hard. I feel a lot of content creators can pull something from this show. Something that has hit them with their works at some point in their lives. I thought it important to share with all of you. With that said, whoa, it has been one hell of week last week. So many contributors coming together to make movies and games for the site. Contest winners galore! This issue is also dedicated to two users. The first being one of Newgrounds most veteran members, FUNKbrs. The other being Vista-Sound13, whose music has graced multiple Phonographs in The Tank Tribune. This week's Phonograph is complete with 40 songs by Vista-Sound13. We look at some of PurpleShoes favorite movies. The Best of February was announced! A lot of updates for March from BenTibbetts and Waterflame. This and much more. Here are the hip happenings of Newgrounds!

Monthly Update February 2022
@BenTibbetts has a monthly update. He's been playing as a piano accompanist for University Interscholastic League Events. He has also been playing for Trinity Church of Austin and the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin. You can hear the Trinity recordings here. You can also watch the Unitarian Universalist performances here. He also helped organize two unrelated recitals for the Armstrong Community Music School. You can watch one of the recitals here. New project and a little announcement!!!
@TemptyOne has been hard at work on multiple projects. They release two games that you have probably spotted on the Front Page. Heroes Quest and BitBattle and Heroes Quest. They're newest game in the works is entitled Blood, Guns & Chips. It is inspired by Katana Zero and Hotline Miami. It is still in early development. TemptyOne has enlisted @strawbbyofficial to make the music. You can check out strawbbyofficial's music below. Also play Heroes Quest!
March Updates - NGA / GDC / Robeats / Welkin/Skyworld game!
@Waterflame has posted some updates. If you want the full scoop just watch the video. If you want the skinny, it's this. Waterflame is going to be at this year's GDC (Game Developers Conference). He'll have a booth there and is a finalist in the GDC Pitch Competition. If you're in the San Francisco, CA area then the event will be between March 21-25. He will be on the judges panel for the Norwegian Game Awards. The awards show will be on March 31! Robeats has licensed his music. The project he has been working on Welkin/Skyworld is coming to fruition! Waterflame has also surpassed 250,000 monthly listeners on Spotify!
15 years ago, one of the most excruciating, random, difficult, and trolling games of all time debuted on Newgrounds. @Splapp-me-do gave us The Impossible Quiz. If you want a game that will make you rage, then this is the one to bring your blood to a boil. I will give this tidbit to new players. Try not to use your Skips. That is all I will say.

While I was browsing Newgrounds, I did come across a lot of joy and happiness. Tons of work. People working together on huge projects. Big things happening for some of Newgrounds best. Many I call friend here on the site. I was looking to showcase more of the underrated creators on Newgrounds and I hope I have done that here today. However, I came across people who are not doing too well. Whether they have hit the bottom with their work, they're suffering from burnout, or life in general has just gotten them down. I have reached out to them, and I hope the friends I have pointed some of them too can help out. If you're a creator reading this, whether you're doing great or feeling underwhelmed about your work. I have posted another video here. It is from CGPGrey when the pandemic just started out. I think the lessons it teaches are still just as important today. Be sure to take care of yourself so you can keep your spaceship running. If you are suffering from burnout, use this as an opportunity to not only recover, but browse Newgrounds as well. Connect with other creators. Chat and make friends. You'll get that itch again before you know it and have tons of ideas. If you're don't know why your works aren't being noticed or think they're good enough. Visit the respected forum in the Community. Make friends there. Talk about your works. You'll be surprised at how much you discover. Newgrounds is an incredibly welcoming and friendly place for animators, artists, musicians, voice actors, writers, game developers, programmers, coders, beta testers, and just about anything else you can think of. If you also want to get your works more noticed, enter a contest that is coming up. There are always prizes in some shape or form. If anything, it will definitely get more eyes on your works. I think that is all I can say in this matter. If you want help or are still unsure about anything about Newgrounds, then pop a thread in the Where is / How to / Help! or just Send Me a PM. If I don't have the answer, I will certainly know who will. That's all I can say on the matter here. I hope you all have a fantastic morning and week. Thanks for reading as always.
