Good Morning Newgrounds! The Newgrounds DeathMatch 2021 is underway! The July Game Jam has come to an end. Expect much eggs! We are awaiting the announcement of the Summer Animation Jam results. There are new tools for game developers. Clock Day is on the horizon! With that out of the way here are the hip happenings on Newgrounds!

Game API and SharedArrayBuffer updates!
@PsychoGoldfish has done a huge update to the API Tools. For Game Developers you can integrate Newgrounds.io API for high scores, medals, and more! It has been streamlined and more user friendly for developers using the project system here on Newgrounds! If you're participating in a game jam, you'll want to take note of these updates!
Newgrounds Audio DeathMatch 2021
The Audition Round has come to a close and the judges are listening to the songs and working on their scores. You can talk about the DeathMatch and pull for your favorites in the discussion thread. Over 100 songs were submitted during the audition phase. Good luck to all of the competitors. Below are a list of the judges. We start the week off with an entry in the July Game Jam entitled Splat Chicken. Winning @STANNco, @Averageocporn, and @fractalcounty their first Game Daily Feature. @JoelyMoley picks up his second Daily Feature for an Among Us parody entitled among us - lil piggies. His first Daily Feature would be from small ENEMY SPIDER. @mattyburrito picks up his eighth Daily Feature on hump day with his movie Pizza Girl Ride Along. We have another bumper entry entitled Yestercade [NewgroundsTV Bumper] picking up a Daily Feature for @BrandyBuizel, @ayekerik, @GRUB-LORD, @ImKevin, and @mootthenoot. @EggyDaxy picks up their third Daily Feature for INSIDE JOKES. We hit on Friday with a collaboration between @scottwjsm and @MihaP with voice acting by @MEGAROBBY and @VoicesByCorey, with music by @Tyguy80s and @Fanopeion entitled Ducky Under Judgement. To close off the week we have an entry in the Newgrounds Summer Jam entitled Those Good Ol' Golden Wonder Days. A collaboration between @Awful-Ike, @EelSocks, @GreaseBrain, @RoseTheVixen, @Sardinky, and @Valbun.
There is a change here in the paper. Now like the Audio Portal back in 2007 redesign we had Darnell and A-Bot featuring that week's Top 5 Songs from the Audio Portal. This will be transitioned to the paper! You can still click the banner for the full Top 40!
