Good Morning Newgrounds! I hope you're having an incredible Sunday! A lot has happened on Newgrounds last week, with multiple contests and winners galore! I recently celebrated 14 years on Newgrounds! We have a spiritual successor to the Karoshi games with a throwback to Portal as well! The Sunday Phonograph this week features music from veterans of the Newgrounds Audio Portal. All in all, it has been an amazing week for the site and with Madness Day on the horizon and big prizes coming for it there is always something going on when you come to Newgrounds! Last Week's Daily Features from the Portal as posted through P-Bot's Postings are listed here. @ChipsGoWOAH picked up his first Daily Feature with sum twinkle stars for the Neo Geo Jam. A collaborative effort with @coby, @DIGIMIN, and @mogy64 doing the voice work and the legendary @ninjamuffin99 supplying the music. The second episode of Chaotic Heart nabbed a Daily Feature for @9Hammer and @Irish-Soul.

The-Great-One has been with Newgrounds for 14 Years, signing up on September 2, 2006. Throughout the years he was a reviewer writing reviews for movies and games, mostly for the Audio Portal though. He was also a member of the Review Request Club. He decided to give back to Newgrounds through his contributions of an archive with The Interviewer in 2009. As of today he is still going strong with The Interviewer and is now the editor of The Tank Tribune.
"There is much in my life that I would go back in time and change if I could. The one thing I never would have changed, was the experiences I have had with this place. Halloween 2020
@ClockworkPixel and @FraserMcNiven are currently working on a project for this year's Halloween. It looks like the title is going to be The Magician & The Mother. I reached out to ClockworkPixel for further comment on the project. I was also given some exclusive character design to show off.
"We were inspired by the posters of magicians and illusionists of the early 20th century, Taking ideas conjured up from those images and mixing it with an exaggerated style from 90's animation.
Whenever we start a short we throw everything at it to see what sticks. With Newgrounds being a place to share ideas and get instant feedback, I always want to experiment with animation to see what does and doesn't work.
We also work full time as animators so being able to animate our own projects instead of commercial work means we can really let loose and really get crazy!
Seeing the reaction to last years 'The Chaos Signals' we want to step up our game in terms of animation and story telling and hope we can leave people pleasantly surprised when it's released in October."

Anti-Cheat Protection Ideas for Newgrounds Audio Competitions
@BasiatordeCoronatus has some ideas to help prevent cheating in contests. Such as rotating themes. It helps prevent musicians from using Works-In-Progress for their contest entry. @Troisnyx has brought up that metadata and other variables can be used to help prevent this or at least put it to a halt during the judging phase. @NekoMika has made notes that contests are handled on good faith for the competitors. Any sense of cheating will result in barring from future competitions is an idea tossed around as well.
So Inktober May Have Plagiarized
@EpithetSoup has brought up a theory that the creator of Inktober possibly copied his book from another author. The event as a whole is now being discussed on whether or not this taint will diminish its value in the art community going forward. If you're an artist, join in on the discussion.

The week can get people down sometimes. With all of the hustle and bustle and action packed drama that entails our lives, sometimes it's nice to just kickback and relax. Here are a few games to play to unwind on this Sunday Morning.
I know I made myself the main feature of this issue, and believe me that was not on purpose, but I decided to roll wit it. I hated last week's issue. I felt I let a lot of you down by not having something more substantial for you. Yet to my surprise you all loved last week's issue. I even got a new Patron for my Patreon due to that issue. Which I didn't deserve any of that. I'm sorry that I've been neglectful to my projects. I have to do better not only for myself. I have to do better for all of you here as well because all of you deserve better. For once in my life it is time to actually live up to my username. It is time for once to actually be Great. I intend to. Because you all deserve greatness. Thanks for sticking with me and my works for so long, it truly means more to me than you could possibly imagine. A lot of thanks to @BenjaminTibbetts, @TheGhostOfSevenSeize, and @Xinxinix. I hope this issue surpassed last weeks. Each issue I intend to make better than the last. Together we can all be Great!
