@Ant hello son.

I completely forgot that you could embed swfs into forum and news posts. What's the filesize limit on that? And is it only limited to movies from the Movie Portal?

Edit: LOL nevermind, I just figured it out.

sweet!

didn't expect to be featured in this haha

There is a ton of content in this one. Thank you!

I appreciate the mention. Haven't appeared in a news article in a while, it's usually all "indecent" this and "attempted" that...

Yay!! Orchard got mentioned, I'm so proud of him <3

Congratsvto all who got featured in this one.

I like how I got spotlighted for the demake of my game and not for the original thing lol, great read overall though!

My, it's an honour to be a featured composer not gonna lie...

Thx for the shoutout for the portal defenders beta test signup!

leo & satan damaged my brain the best way possible

Pico is Newgrounds' Mickey Mouse? That just makes me want to see what'd happen if he went to Disney World. Or Disneyland. Or any other Disney park, whichever one you prefer. Call it "Pico's Vacation", haha!

Also, that Trojan horse meme is hilarious.

Let me know how the template works out, or if you need any help with it! It's far from the cleanest since it was built mainly for copying and pasting from the VS Code preview; I'll try Pandoc out this weekend and see if that makes it possible to get rid of the countless {sp} + littered throughout the template. If that works then it should make things MUCH cleaner!

Also, if the format of the post is open to changes, then I could rework the template to use more standardized H1, H2, ...H5 elements in hierarchical order. Right now it's full of [discrete] tags over each heading because otherwise it keeps complaining that a H3 can't be the parent of a H2, but this was really only done to make it look as close as possible to the existing news posts.

But this is just the beginning. The VS Code preview doesn't support extra steps from what I understand. If the Pandoc route is alright with you, then there would be much, _much_ more in the way of customization, as I could look into writing a custom build process that converts the template into a news post in a pipeline, with each step adding some customizations.

Where I'm working atm we use AsciiDoc for generating documentation in PDF and in HTML formats. I'm getting ahead of myself, but using it means that you could make a PDF version with, say, a different theme and layout to the HTML version without any extra effort involved. Like LaTeX but easier to handle (in theory)
