@Ant I've been writing a long time. You find shortcuts. Copy and paste for names. My mouse was being an absolute piece of shit though.

BEST AUDIO LETS GOOOOOOOOO. Thanks guys I really appreciate it.
Loved the final notes from this magazine, yet remember how I was feeling really depressed at the start of the pandemic + not knowing how to grow as an artist, when I found newgrounds my mind just exploded and it was amazing, even if it took me several months to start with something, I'm grateful on how this community works and supports, keep the good work ya all!!!
Always love reading these! The love and care put into them is always warmly palpable, it fits the site well! I've felt my self go through many cycles of gaining and losing motivation for just about everything during the past two years, not to mention just about everything has turned every direction in my life, but this place always feels like home. I guess what I'm trying to say is that these are always a great start to my week, and always remind me of what I love about NG/The Internet.
P.S. Sorry you had to wade through all the weird hentai in my favorites list. "Two Of Us" deserves more recognition.
Gay pamphlets FTW.
If only every piece of litter could be as entertaining.
we givin everyone daily #1s!!! get em while their hot!!!!
I did not expect to be in the weekly top 5 of the audio portal, really happy to be here! Thanks to everyone for listening to my song!
That is cool
JTvister's post about comics on NG resonates with me alot, and until NG can afford to setup a proper comics portal/system I think their solutions are pretty damn clever and I dig the ingenuity! gonna def save it for future projects.
Aw thank you for mentioning my post <3 wooooo one year tomorrow let’s goooo
@The-Great-One What software do you use to type it up? I know editors like Notepad++ and VS Code automatically show popups for repeated names, so you can quickly type them up without having to copy and paste them.
Furthermore, if you type it up in Markdown then you can use Pandoc to convert it to RTF, which you can theoretically copy and paste it into the Newgrounds news post box and it would format it automatically, and all that's needed is to add the images and videos manually. Not to mention this opens up the possibility of standard templates that already include images, if Pandoc/RTF supports embedding images in the text. (Assuming you aren't already doing it this way)
Thank you for sharing the article, @The-Great-One!
I dun' goof'd not posting the follow-up as I got a lot swinging, though it will come around soon.
More to come!
Thanks For Featuring Me!
@Gimmick Honestly? I use OpenOffice, pretty much a free version of Microsoft Word to put some stuff together. Besides that, any article featured in the Tribune I send to The Tank Tribune's PM. I have it set to only accept messages from Friends and friended The-Great-One account.
I have heard about Notepad++ before but didn't really look too much into it. I have no idea what Pandoc is. All the headers for each section of the paper (GENERAL NEWS, PHONOGRAPH, etc.) were made in Microsoft Paint.
@The-Great-One Pandoc is a tool to convert from Markdown to different text formats. Markdown itself is a simple markup language that you'd normally use on StackOverflow, Reddit and other places. OpenOffice is pretty good, but it's not really set up (in my experience) to make it easy to enter the same text repeatedly (like username mentions).
Notepad++ and VS Code usually display a dropdown that shows the past text in the document that matches whatever you're typing (so when you, say, type @ and press Ctrl+Space, then it would show the previous username mentions you typed). While they're usually used for programming, it sounds like it'd be useful for your usecase as well.
And as for what I was referring to earlier with the templates and such, I think a template could be configured to insert the header images (e.g. General, Phonograph, etc.) in lieu of the header text. That is, whenever it encounters the text (which inserts a heading "GENERAL NEWS"):
# GENERAL NEWS
Then it could replace that with the corresponding image, provided it's configured correctly.
So in theory it *should* be possible to type it all up in Markdown using Notepad++/VS Code, run it through Pandoc, open the generated RTF file, copy it and paste it all in the NG News box and everything should appear as it was in the RTF file.

I feel bad for ur fingers it must've hurt writing all those names, also thanks for showcasing me in the past two issues!
